Hey guys, was on here before, but then i did something stupid, but im back now

Specs: EF2 GLi Wagon
EF2 Fairmont Ghia dash loom, trip comp, climate control and EF2 Ghia heaterbox, NL FAIRLANE BY TICKFORD (with my old odo kms on it) cluster wired into the EF2 ghia dash loom
EF XR8 Front bar, thermos fans, radiator, transmission cooler
Hidden engine bay wiring, Stock engine (more details below) and on gas
EL Tail lights, Colour coded rear garnish
Rear mounted aftermarket roof racks
Custom Black interior with chrome and woodgrain
Current paintwork is satin black, but its only there as an undercoat for the PPG Pre-mixed gloss black

and here are the results from last nights drags..

The EF ran the following (all without burnouts, on petrol in power mode)

run 1: Reaction: .488 60': 3.28 MP/H: 80.04 KM/H: 128.82 1/4mile: 18.481
run 2: Reaction: .796 60': 3.40 MP/H: 81.25 KM/H: 130.77 1/4mile: 18.463
run 3: Reaction: .958 60': 3.10 MP/H: 80.35 KM/H: 129.32 1/4mile: 18.149

So best time: 18.149 @ 80.35mph (129.32km/h)

Im happy about it.. and thats with no burnout, no hard launch, in drive, with a full boot, near full LPG tank and with the mixer ring still in place, and its a wagon so it was heavy.

Not bad for a 15 year old car, that hasnt got any engine mods

There is a heap more, but yeah..

Pics: Excuse the mess in any pics... i haven't cleaned the car in a few months..

Ok, Lately I have been phoning around looking for some PPG 2k pre-mixed gloss black and PPG pre-mixed clearcoat, but unforunately the closest I can get any from is down in Sydney's South.

I was looking around today at the engine bay, and thought about pulling the intake, battery and header tank out, and moving the mixer to the side, covering the engine itself and spraying the shock towers and radiator support as currently its all a mess from damaged/scratched Heritage Green Paintwork.

At the same time, I will be adding in distrubution blocks and 0G wiring all the way to the boot as I am re-locating the battery to the boot, removing the current header tank and putting a BA item in, this way I can remove the rusty battery tray and spray that at the same time, but If I can't, i'll just do it later.

The intake will be replaced soon with some stainless steel piping and a pod filter (boxed) as the one on there currently has a massive crack in it along the factory join, and as the backfiring seems to have stopped for now (fine at the drags the other day on take-off) it seems like a good time to do it.

I will be re-spraying the rocker cover blue again next weekend seeing as I have found my high-temp engine light blue paint.

In about 2 months time, it will be off to WSID again, then AFD around late July with way better paintwork. Hopefully If I can fix up the issue with it loosing all of its power from 3k upwards, it should get into the 17's with nothing in the boot, 15" steel rims, no gas ring in place (which i believe is causing the power loss), back seat removed, no spare.. Unless the lifters die in the ass which I will then be upgrading the Cam, lifters, tappets, rocker arms to better, stronger gear.. Or I might just throw in a stock AU3 XR6 VCT engine.
