QIKNLO V2.0 - the hunt for more power - updated 26/3/2011

hi guys thouhgt id start a build thread as the car is now undergoing its 2nd build as i wasnt happy with 225RWKW.

ill start throwing up pics as i go along.

Build 2.0 will consist of a complete rebuild of the exhuast side of the car.

engine mods that im keeping for this part of the build:

splitfire coilpacks
700cc highflowed injectors
blitz SUSpower LM pod filter
3" mandrel bent stainless exhaust
z32AFM
apexi PowerFC
4.11 diff ratio


to be added:
XSPower Highmount stainless manifold HPC coated in black - installed
T67-25G Turbo 4" inlet version
44mm external wastegate
custom front pipe - new dump pipe - both combined into 1 piece 3" stainless
Xracing 600x300x75 FMIC + new pipe kit

to be modded:
re-locate charcoal canister
re-locate powersteering filler
hide all wiring on the exhaust side of the car up under the guard.


chasing minimum 300rwkw, aiming at 330rwkw on 15psi and 350rwkw on 20psi
a guy from SAU is currently making 410.9rwkw on 26psi with this turbo(just short of 550rwhp)

my build so far:

first pics i have so far.. unfortunatly i have no before pics. lets just say it was all nice a black from a powersteering leak a while back

wiring been all moved to under the guard




where the wiring was


relocated power steering resevior and charcoal canister and installed new lines to them.


exhaust manifold in(old rear turbo housing off the GT35 i was going to use).


pics with the GT35 on it - im not using this turbo anymore as it says above.
i also didnt like the setup of the piping, i like it better pointing downwards.






dummy fitting my new T67-25G ready for plumbing the wastegate screamer and the new exhaust

tried to get a pic of the wastegate and screamer pipe, u can kinda see it. now im just waiting for the top 90 degree bend to come back on monday with the v-band flange and 02 sensor tig'd into place, and the other piece of my intercooler piping to be done, then its off to have the exhaust done thursday, and hopefully a tune the following week.

this car is now for sale. 8k as is. no reg or rwc. has been completed, made 255rwkw on 17psi bp98. the gearbox coulnt hold the power so it wasnt pushed for more on the dyno, and now has no 3rd gear. the car is built to handle easy 22psi and make well over 300rwkw with the current setup.
