Hey All,
I own a late 1998 nl fairlane ghia 'CONCORDE' 1 of 680 made and approx 80 in black
Some of you mite of seen my nl recently i got it as a trade in at my old job in December 2007
Paint code - ST SILLOUETE Black (Rare on NL's) with mako grey leather interior, woodgrain inserts , momo steering wheel same as el gt factory fitted. Has fairlane/ltd dash, high output engine I6HO(factory 162kw) 185,000km dual fuel 4 speed auto with high performance 3.45 single pegger and has self levelling suspension 16 inch concorde wheels and a 6 disc stacker stereo
When i first picked it up
Then lowered it on king spring SL's Fitted some 18 inch F6 Typhoon Copy's on. My sisters LH in the background (MADDLH)
Mafia Spec on the NL or muzz spec on a falcon
Then back to factory alloys, custom plates and a new cat back 2 1/2 mandrel bent system
Testing the auto and engine died 2,000k's afterwards
Time for a set of anz 5+5 20 inch wheels
Ford Forum Natonals 2009 ran a 16.84@79mph
Now manual and 2nd engine went to calder ran a 15.4@89mph bout 140rwkw untuned Feb 2010 Pic taken by Luke Amanatidis (hp heaven) from calder friday night

Fit the rears with 235/60/16's as seen at afd 2011 and and interior shot (FEB 2010)
Wash Clay and Polish April 2010 (used 3M Medium grade claybar,Turtle wax ICE polish and took bout 2 1/2hrs)
Cruise to Kinglake April 2010 with a mate in his DF LTD on 20's
Then later i got reversed into extremely pissed off also damaged tail light
I got bored and fitted the Wheels off my DF2 LTD.. JUNE 2010
Then destroyed engine#2 over revving. 3 holes through the sump and this 1 through the block JUNE 2010
Then decided AU engine modified the sump and a ef 5 speed so the count is 3rd engine and 3rd gearbox Fitted the BBM and distributor not to mention the modified sump to the AU engine.. AUG 2010
Then fitted the SVO short shifter and speedo gear to the fresh T5
Thanks to epa had to go standard exhaust and took it off gas as it created issues
Now she is back on the road cruisin again on 17 inch ajr's...OCT 2010
Polished the rocker cover and upper intake.........NOV 2010 BEFORE

i have got a 100 cell cat thanks to justin @ tuff car parts fitted a custom regrind wade cam and made my cold air intake so heres a few pics now with the full exhaust back on aswell... DEC 2010
Finally got the rear bar done and they blastered the concorde decal partly off so i took the rest off FEB 2011

nice man. nice. 15.4? just as quick as Codies BF Ghia and .3 quicker than my EB. not a bad effort

Yeah the 15.4 was with a el xr6 engine that had so many issues due to gas it ran the au hybrid tickford head and au tickford cam and a ea T5 with a double cushion button clutch which made daily driving a pain
The AU engine has a stronger bottom end as you can see i destroy the eseries bottom ends. Soon i'll buy a new clutch as the current pbr cant handle the engines power at the moment. Untuned its approx 150rwkw so i'll be putting a exedy sports tuff clutch kit thats rated for 400hp or 300kw. Vernier gear so i can get this wade cam dialled in and dynotuned which will happen soon.

Yeah well the late nl's only came in black which was dealer ordered and only came in the concorde. But it's nearly complete as i only want to run a 14 in it. So list to complete is new clutch,flywheel machined,vernier gear,dial in cam and dyno tune. Will let you know when i take it calder/heathcote but have my name down for ford forums drag day in june.
